Props, Props and MORE Props!

One of my favorite aspects of photography, my style of photography, is the staging of the scene with just the right PROPS! I LOVE to make my props when at all possible. My tools of the trade include, power saws, hammers, sanders, drills and just about anything else that Home Depot and Lowe's sells. I have been busy staging my 2016 Senior Sessions and my Christmas Sessions. Preview is below and I have included some other pics with some of my favorite props made by none other than ME.

I absolutely LOVE finding just the right PROPS to help stage the scene...Santa License Plate is in the mail

Faux Hot Chocolate....Looks good enough to drink...even has shaved chocolate on the whip cream

Nothing warms the soul more than fresh hot chocolate on a cold night! Except these are made out of plaster of paris, spackling and shaved crayon.

Boys Rule! Loved making this tent for Camden's Boy's Rule Photo Session

Made this Little Red Riding Hood dress and cape for this shoot

Made and painted this backdrop for my grandson's float in the Edison Pageant of Lights Parade

The back of the Float was turned into a CHICKEN COOP!

Carousel Horse made from a rocking horse...That smile says it all!

Tom Sawyer RAFT! LOL...I love how it sunk and Camden kept paddling away...has since had a little more boyancy added to it with Pool Noodles underneath to help it stay afloat...trial and error!

Boys Rule TENT again made by me. Went antiquing to find the Ranger's hat, brownie camera, camping stools, old fishing poles, cast iron skillet and lantern to bring it all together.

Mom said she had this little Elf costume...so of course we needed a toy shelp to set him on! Look at those blue eyes!
